We selected Axis Communications to partner with for our CCTV and other security needs for one simple reason... Axis Communications was formally founded in 1984 by Mikael Karlsson, Martin Gren and Keith Bloodworth. The year before, Mikael Karlsson and Martin Gren founded Karlsson&Gren Firmware, but when they met Keith Bloodworth, Axis Communications was established. Martin was the engineer with the product vision, Mikael was in business administration and Ketih was the person who gave us the name Axis as well as the indirect sales-model. Axis products are designed, from the first draft, for reliability. The best components and materials are chosen for every purpose. The products are tested for their ability to withstand mechanical wear-andtear, water and humidity, vandalism, extreme temperatures, vibration, and so on. They are certified against external standards, and every single unit is tested thoroughly during production.
